As we wrap up summer we thought it best to shed some light on the sometimes dark subject, TRASH. Non recycled cups are lined with plastic made by Dow Chemicals & Chevron Oils, it makes recycling them with regular paper a problem. Some companies go through over 8,000 Non recycled cups a minute. There is hope conscious consumer, cups without chemical plastic lining exist. Mighty-O has been using recycled & compostable cups for over 15 years and yes, the lids are compostable as well! What else is compostable: straws, napkins, balloons, all packaging, ingredient bags.
